Who We Are
Disability Initiative CBO is a registered Community-Based Organisation under the Department of Social Services, based in Ruiru, Juja Constituency, Kenya. We serve persons with disabilities, caregivers and vulnerable households across our community.

A just, inclusive and barrier-free society where persons with disabilities enjoy equal opportunities, dignity and an improved quality of life.
Our Mission
To empower persons with disabilities and vulnerable households through economic empowerment, inclusive education, healthcare, assistive devices, advocacy, social protection and community participation.

Leadership
Our Chief Executive Officer
Under the leadership of our Chief Executive Officer, Disability Initiative CBO is driving a five-year strategic plan (2026–2030) focused on dignity, inclusion and measurable impact. Our leadership brings a deep commitment to serving persons with disabilities and building partnerships across government, NGOs and the private sector.
